In September, Rockstar Games added hunter, trader and collector roles.

LEELANAU COUNTY, MI -- A sharp-eyed motorists who saw fresh drag marks across a Leelanau County field alerted authorities after following the tracks and The body was found about 11:30 a.m. in a field near Kasson Center and South Newman roads south of Maple City, the TV station reported.

The Leelanau County Sheriff's Department confirmed a dead body was found midday Wednesday south of Maple City, according to CBS affiliate WWTV/WWUP-TV (Channel 9&10 News) in Cadillac.

Motorists driving down Kasson Center Road near South Newman Road saw fresh drag marks in the snow. They followed the tracks, expecting to find a deer carcass, but instead, found the body of a woman over the side of a hill.

The woman's body underwent heavy trauma, which leads police to believe there was foul play.

Leelanau County Sheriff Mike Borkovich told UpNorthLive the incident is being treated as a homicide investigation.

The Leelanau County Sheriff's Office worked with Michigan State Police to investigate the potential crime scene in the snow.

"Snow presents a challenge but it also presents evidence," Lt. Derrick Carroll with the Michigan State Police told UpNorthLive. "It leaves marks and you can see where things are at."

The Michigan State Police Crime Lab was also on the scene.

"Our team came out here, took prints, took photographs, took samples from the area and they are processing the scene," Carroll said. "They will continue to work on this as we progress."

Though the incident is being considered a homicide, but police don't believe the community is in danger.  However, they are encouraging everyone to be alert and keep eyes and ears open.

The State Trunkline Highway System consists of all the state highways in Michigan , including those designated as Interstate, United States Numbered (US Highways), or State Trunkline highways.

There will be an autopsy on the woman's body at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Kalamazoo, which should provide more information.

California sheriff fires deputy who choked suspect that died .
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A Northern California sheriff announced Friday he is firing a deputy who used a choke hold on a man, who later died, while officers were investigating a suspected carjacking.
