BROOKLYN (PIX11) – A search was underway Thursday for a missing 14 - year - old Brooklyn girl. Cops say Maria Castillo was last seen Tuesday night at her home on Coney Island Avenue. Castillo is described as 5-foot-5, 110 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

Missing is Boyd, Anaysha, a black female, aged 14 . She lives at 580 East 21st Street, Brooklyn . She is described as approximately 5’2″, 110 lbs., with brown eyes and brown hair that she wears in a bun. She was wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police are asking for help finding a Brooklyn teenager who has been missing since Thursday.

The NYPD said Brooklyn Technical High School freshman Jenna Hospedales walked away from school and down into the Fulton Street subway station to catch a G train at around 3 p.m. on Thursday. There has been no sign of her since.

“We will not stop until she is back home safely,” said Crystal Hospedales, the missing 14-year-old’s cousin.

Crystal Hospedales is helping lead a mission to have photos of her missing teenage cousin hard to miss on many streets in Brooklyn and beyond.

Police at the 77th Precinct station house tweeted out an alert soon after Jenna Hospedales was reported missing. It didn’t take long for social media to light up with concerned residents, some showing up Sunday afternoon outside the family’s Crown Heights apartment building.

Jenna’s distraught mom, Jennelle, said she could not handle being around a crowd so big during such a tough time. Her appearance was very brief and she offered only limited public comments.

“I hope she comes home. That’s all I want I want, my baby home,” Jennelle Hospedales said.

Flyers have been printed by the thousands, with no shortage of volunteers arriving to put them up.

“We all have kids and it’s our worst fear and nightmare,” volunteer Norman Mah said.

“I would hope that people would help me as well. That’s it. Our heart just goes out to the family. Let’s hope that we find her soon,” Sarah Bupp added.

Jenna Hospedales is 5-foot-8 and weighs 118 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black jacket.
