Double shooting in Boston leaves one man dead

Double shooting in Boston leaves one man dead A double shooting in Boston left one man dead and a second man injured Saturday night. Police were called to the area of 51 Washington St. in Dorchester around 8:25 p.m. Saturday for a report of a shooting, according to Boston police.

The judge heard testimony from Henry's girlfriend, who called police right after the shooting. She testified that Thomas shot Henry.

She said Thomas is her ex's son and was living with her at the time of the shooting. She said she and Henry were involved in a verbal argument about some text messages before the shooting.

Although the hearings are difficult, they are important to the family.

"There's justice to be served, and I'm just holding on and I want to be strong to keep going and carry on," Arnold said, "and he would want me to, also."

Thomas has been charged on counts of murder and manslaughter. A decision whether to move the case toward trial is expected at the end of January.
