  86-year-old Greenville man robs bank, fires gun inside, shots at car window outside, warrants say An 86-year-old man accused of robbing a Greenville bank Monday fired his gun inside the bank and shot at a car window outside, arrest warrants show. The robbery was reported just after 9:30 a.m. at the Bank of America at 498 S. Pleasantburg Drive. The warrants said Ware fired a gun inside the bank and shot at a driver's window that had someone inside. No one was injured, police said. Ware was arrested minutes later during a traffic stop on South Pleasantburg Drive and East Antrim Drive, police said.

A man was shot in the arm after an attempted robbery on Sunday evening, police said.

It happened shortly after 9:15 p.m. on Moury Avenue.

Authorities said the suspect approached the man and demanded money. When the victim tried to walk away, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot him in the arm. The suspect then ran away from the scene, according to Atlanta police.

The victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injury.

The case is still under investigation.
