Assistant coach Stephanie Ricker was driving a second van of athletes that was not involved in the crash. The police report shows that she told officers they had a green light but not a green arrow when approaching the intersection.

Officers also spoke to the driver of the pickup truck, Ronald Wolf, the report shows. Wolf told police that the driver of the silver van appeared to be looking down prior to the crash.

Another witness also told police that the pickup "had nowhere to go to avoid a collision."

Grace Rett, a sophomore who was a member of the women’s rowing team, died in the crash. The Uxbridge native, had celebrated her 20th birthday the day before the fatal crash.
