  Man Pulls Knife On Taco Bell Employees Over Menu Prices: Police Witnesses told Stafford deputies that the man became upset over the type of taco he received and the price of items on the menu. The suspect then argued with employees and subsequently pulled out a knife and threatened them, according to the sheriff's office. He allegedly lunged at them with the knife twice.A Stafford sheriff's deputy and his K-9 partner responded to the scene and located the knife in a grassy area near a Goodwill Store and Donation Center, located behind the Taco Bell.Hodges has been charged with attempted malicious wounding, assault, disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice.

A Cumberland County grand jury recently indicted 28-year-old Crystal S. Zeller of Linwood on charges of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Cocoa police have identified the man killed in Wednesday's officer involved shooting as 55-year-old Renard Daniels. Sign up for our Newsletters Police said Daniels was shot and killed by Officer Brian Fredette after Fredette was called to Prospect Park Wednesday afternoon on reports of a man attacking a woman. Police said they got a report that a man was stabbing a woman with a knife in Prospect Park and said they said they were told several armed people were coming to the woman’s defense.Police said Officer Fredette told Daniels to drop the knife, but when Daniels refused, Fredette shot him.

Zellers is scheduled for arraignment Feb. 7 in Superior Court here.

The alleged incident took place on Nov. 14, 2019, according to an affidavit Officer Maruba Harris filed.

“The victim fled from the vehicle and knocked on the door to his mother’s residence to get away from the defendant,” according to the affidavit. “The defendant exited the vehicle and fled the scene before police arrived. She was apprehended on a nearby street.”

The police report states the victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Zeller spent almost six days in the county jail before gaining her release at a hearing in Cumberland County Superior Court.

Court records indicate Zellers was arrested in September 2017 in an aggravated assault case involving alleged use of a firearm. The alleged incident occurred in Salem County.

Zellers avoided trial on those charges when she was accepted into the state's Pre-Trial Diversion program in March 2019. A defendant can have charges dropped if they complete the PTI program, which usually takes a year.

Mother arrested after bedridden girl, 7, found dead during welfare check .
A mother has been arrested after a 7-year-old bedridden girl was found dead inside her home when police were performing a welfare check. © Bay City Police Department Lauren Kay Dean, 26, of Bay City Texas was arrested by the Bay City Police Department on Jan. 31 after police found her 7-year-old daughter deceased inside their home. The incident occurred at about 2:30 p.m. on Friday when Bay City Police Officers in Bay City, Texas, were doing a welfare check at a residence in the area and found a 7-year-old girl who was bedridden due to medical conditions dead inside the home.
