  4-year-old boy shot and killed inside his home Milwaukee Police Department have two people in custody after a 4-year-old boy was killed.Police responded to a call in the Mayfair Apartments of the 5300 block of N. Lovers Lane Road around 1:17 a.m., where the child suffered a "serious gunshot wound," police said.

A man died after he found shot in a St. Paul street on Saturday night, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Police were dispatched to the Greater East Side about 11:15 p.m. on a report of a man who had been assaulted. Officers found a young adult man who was unconscious and not breathing at Kennard Street and Ross Avenue, and paramedics pronounced him dead.

Officers brought some witnesses to headquarters to be interviewed by investigators, said Sgt. Mike Ernster, a St. Paul police spokesman. No arrests have been announced and Ernster encouraged anyone with information to call police at 651-266-5650.

“Our investigators are working to determine … the facts that led to this shooting and determine who was responsible,” said Ernster, who also said police did not believe the shooting was random.

Investigators canvassed the area, looking for evidence and cameras — “anything nearby that would have captured this incident and would help them find out who did this,” according to Ernster.

Police said they will release the name of the man who was killed after the Ramsey County medical examiner’s office confirms his identity.

The homicide is the fourth of the year in St. Paul.

2 people found dead in Missouri City home .
Two people were found dead Saturday night in a Missouri City home after a suspect shot at a police officer responding to a 911 call at the residence. Officers were dispatched around 6:40 p.m. to the 1100 block of Mesa Verde, where one officer was confronted by an armed man who began shooting at law enforcement outside the home, said Missouri City Police Department Lt. Russell Terry.READ ALSO: Woman on life support after being shot in head near Houston shopping centerThe officer fired back, striking the suspect, who was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.Investigators called the deaths suspicious.
