Man convicted of murdering woman and her 11-year-old girl .
Jurors on Monday convicted a West Palm Beach man in the late 2017 murders of a mother and her 11-year-old daughter. Prosecutors will now seek a death sentence for Marlin Joseph in the shootings that killed 36-year-old Kaladaa Crowell and her child, Kyra Inglett. Palm Beach County Circuit Judge Cheryl Caracuzzo said the trial’s punishment phase will begin this afternoon. Prosecutors say the murders were “especially heinous, atrocious, or cruel,” and also committed in a “cold, calculated, and premeditated matter” without any reason.
