  Man shot twice in apartment parking lot, Fort Worth police say A man was taken to the hospital Saturday night after Fort Worth police say he was shot twice. Just before 11:45 p.m., officers responded to the incident at the Regency Oaks Apartments on the 2100 block of Handley Drive, according to police. Officers found the man had been shot in the lower half of his body, police at the scene said. He was in the parking lot of the apartment complex at the time. The man was stable when taken to the hospital, but officials did not provide any over additional information.

The shooting happening outside the Mon View Heights apartment complex on Midway Drive around 11:16 p.m.

When police arrived on the scene, they found the victim with gunshot wounds to the face and head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office has identified the victim as 45-year-old Thomas Johnson of Duquesne.

Police are continuing to investigate. At last check, a motive is not known and no suspected have been identified.
