DUBAI (Reuters) - An investigation was opened by Saudi police after a shooting near Asir, a border region with Yemen, in which six people died on Tuesday, reports the official SPA news agency on Wednesday.
During this shooting, three Saudis were also injured and were transported to hospital, the agency said, which does not give further details on the nature of the incident in Al Amwah, in the south of the country.
Saudi Arabia commands a coalition of Gulf countries militarily engaged in Yemen against Iranian-backed Houthi Shiite rebels, who have controlled the country's major cities since the end of 2014.
