ROME (Reuters) - The number of new deaths linked to the coronavirus rose Wednesday in Italy to 71, against 55 the day before, announced the Civil Protection which counted 321 new contaminations in 24 hours against 318 the day before .
According to the agency, since the epidemic was reported on February 21, it has killed 33,601 people in the country, placing Italy in third position behind the United States and Great Britain, in terms of death.
