Naya Rivera Seemed ''Really Happy'' and ''Excited'' for Her Future Prior to Boating Accident Sources share exclusive insight into Glee actress Naya Rivera's personal life and "incredibly close" bond with her son as authorities continue their search.Authorities are still searching for the 33-year-old Glee actress, who was presumed dead on Thursday, July 9 in what's being described by law enforcement as a drowning accident. One day prior, Rivera and her child, 4-year-old Josey Dorsey, rented a pontoon boat at Lake Piru, a reservoir located approximately 50 miles north of Los Angeles. When the boat was not returned, an employee of the rental facility searched the lake and found the boat with her son on it.

Prescia was charged with DUI and reckless driving at the scene of the collision, where she ran her 2020 Hyundai Sonata into a 2011 Nissan Sentra around 7 p.m. Sunday. She allegedly confessed to cops that she’d consumed a couple of 12-ounce White Claw hard seltzers roughly three hours before the wreck that killed her baby, Royce. Police conducted a blood test on Prescia.

Royce was reportedly ejected from his car seat in the back of Prescia’s automobile. Police said the 23-year-old mom’s eyes were bloodshot and her speech was slurred at the time of her arrest. Prescia’s airbag deployed on impact.

Hubbard-Jones, who was driving a 2017 Mercedes-Benz, had told police he was on the phone with Prescia warning her to slow down when she crashed over the weekend. He said they were doing a custody hand-off.

After speaking with witnesses and reviewing video evidence, cops concluded that he and the baby’s mom were both driving recklessly and trying to pass one another on the roadway where the speed limit is 45 mph.

“The extreme speeds and driving behaviors were indicative of a speed contest between the two parents of the deceased juvenile,” police said Wednesday.

The case is still under investigation.
