A young British man has been convicted for killing a man with a single punch last year outside a store in England in a reportedly unprovoked altercation.

Sonny Hazel, 25, of Southminster — about 50 miles northeast of London — was found guilty of manslaughter in the June 2019 death of Daryl Bunn, BBC News reported Wednesday.

Bunn, 27, died at the hospital late last June after he was punched once outside an Iceland supermarket in nearby Maldon, Essex, fell back and his head hit the ground.

“Daryl Bunn’s death was needless and completely avoidable, and his family and fiancée have been left devastated,” said Detective Chief Inspector Lee Morton, who noted the case proves “any act of violence can lead to someone being seriously injured and even killed.”

Bunn was with a friend when he was dealt the fatal blow just before 9 p.m. local time.

On their way home, the two “became involved in an altercation with a group of people,” according to authorities.

Bunn, who was airlifted to a hospital, died from a traumatic brain injury. His friend sustained a broken jaw, for which Hazell and 24-year-old 24 were cleared.

Morton also noted that, as evidenced in the trial, Bunn “did nothing to instigate or provoke the incident that led to him losing his life.”

Hazell is slated to be sentenced early next month.

Criminal case dropped against Florida teen who fatally shot pal while 'simulating' rap video .
MIAMI — Prosecutors have dropped the manslaughter case against an 18-year-old who accidentally shot and killed his friend in Hialeah while he was "simulating a rap video" for a Snapchat post. The state on Friday declined to file the charge against Jonathan Batista, who had been arrested for the Oct. 22 death of Brian Shakur Meridor, 18. The reason: the Glock pistol had been modified, and the teen said he didn’t think it worked. In reality, the modification made the weapon dangerously defective and it likely fired without the teen even pulling the trigger.
