Customers at a North Miami supermarket hit a man on the head with boxes of sausages, after he allegedly stabbed an employee in the neck multiple times.
Allen Pierre-Louis, 32, from Miami,, allegedly waited outside of the , located at 14641 Biscayne Blvd, on Tuesday for more than an hour for one of the employees to arrive for work, according to a North Miami Beach Police Department arrest report obtained by Local 10.

The police alleged that Pierre-Louis then spotted the victim in the meat department located in the back of the store, and quickly walked over to him carrying a yellow towel and a large knife.
Pierre-Louis is then alleged to have covered the victim's mouth with the towel, before then stabbing him repeatedly in the neck and right shoulder and slamming him onto a metal display that stores meat items.
Several witnesses then apparently rushed over to the scene of the incident, and struck Pierre-Louis over the head with boxes of sausages in an attempt to get him to stop stabbing the victim.
The witnesses were able to separate Pierre-Louis from the victim, with the suspect then fleeing the store before being located later in the day, authorities said.

A spokesperson for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office confirmed to Newsweek that police received reports of a shooting near the grocery store. Local 10 reported that Pierre-Louis attempted to flee from the area by running behind other businesses, but was apprehended and taken to the North Miami Beach Police Department. He invoked his right to remain silent.
Pierre-Louis is being held in police custody without bond after being taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital to be treated for cuts on his hands. He faces a charge of attempted first-degree murder.
The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The police department has not yet confirmed a motive for the attack.
CBS Miami reported that the Publix store was closed for around three hours on Tuesday, as police blocked the entrance to the shop.
Customer Anika Cooke told the outlet that she was "sad" to hear the news, saying: "This is a great Publi[x] supermarket to come to. Everyone here is super nice. I hate to hear that something like this is happening. I hope he will be ok."
