  12-year-old Oklahoma boy found dead after participating in TikTok 'blackout challenge,' reports say A 12-year-old boy from Oklahoma died Tuesday morning after participating in a dangerous social media trend on TikTok, according to local TV reports.The boy, who has not been identified, was found unresponsive by police late Monday in a breezeway of a Bethany, Oklahoma, apartment with ligature marks around his neck, according to KWTV-DT. He was taken to the University of Oklahoma Children’s Hospital and died the following day, police said,  the television station reported.

Antony Barajas, the 19-year-old TikTok star who was shot inside a movie theater in Corona, Calif. earlier this week has died, police said Saturday.

Barajas and Rylee Goodrich, 18, both of Corona, were shot Monday night during the 9:35 p.m. showing of the action-horror film “The Forever Purge.”

  TikTok star Anthony Barajas remains on life support after California movie theater shooting The 19-year-old social media influencer attended a showing of The Forever Purge with his friend Rylee Goodrich, who was fatally shot. Their families have set up GoFundMe pages.Barajas, 19, went to a screening of The Forever Purge with his friend Rylee Goodrich, 18, on July 26, authorities detailed. After the incident, in which a person shot a firearm inside the theater, Barajas and Goodrich were found by theater staff with bullet wounds.

Their bodies were discovered after the end of the movie by employees of the Regal Edwards Theatre in Corona, some 50 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles, according to Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin.

The two teens were on their first date, according to Goodrich’s father, Dave Goodrich.

She was pronounced dead on the scene. Barajas was taken to a local hospital, where he remained on life support until Saturday, according to police.

“I want to thank everyone who lifted Anthony in prayer. The injuries to his brain were irreparable,” Malik Earnest, a friend of Barajas’ who had been posting updates on social media, tweeted Saturday morning.

“July 30th at 11 p.m., Anthony was wheeled down an ‘honor walk’ where he would ultimately donate his organs so others may live. Please continue to pray for his family and friends.”

Police say that, “based on statements obtained, there is no known motive and [the shooting] appears to be an unprovoked attack.”

A GoFundMe page set up to help Barajas family to help with expenses related to the tragedy has raised more than $75,000 as of Saturday

‘We lost our amazing brother, son, and friend in a tragic accident,” a statement on the page reads. “Anthony was the light of so many peoples lives and there are tough times ahead, but we have amazing family and friends to get through this.”

Barajas, known online as itsanthonymichael, was a popular content creator on social media, with nearly a million followers on TikTok.
