Entertainment Sports World Is Praying For Longtime ESPN Host

Longtime ESPN host Mike Greenberg suffered a "setback" this week that will keep him off the air until further notice.

Mike Francesa slams Giants’ Kenny Golladay: ‘Enough is enough’

Mike Francesa is mad as hell, and he’s not going to take it anymore. The former WFAN host slammed Giants wide receiver Kenny Golladay Sunday on Twitter during New York’s 24-16 win over the Houston Texans at MetLife Stadium: “One more drop and I take away Golladay’s helmet. Enough is enough.” BUY GIANTS TICKETS: STUBHUB, VIVID SEATS, TICKETSMARTER, TICKETMASTER Golladay wasn’t a factor in Sunday’s win. Per NJ Advance Media’s Darry Slater: Golladay on Sunday was targeted twice. He had one obvious drop and one borderline drop. After his obvious drop, with 1:41 remaining in the first half, he was benched. He didn’t return to the game.

The longtime ESPN host is missing a key part of the football season, as the College Football Playoff was just announced and the NFL regular season is heading to the finish line.

But health is obviously paramount.

Sports fans are praying for Greenberg's speedy recovery so he can be back on the air soon.

"Unfortunately I’ve had a little setback and am going to have to miss the rest of this week. Hate being out during this incredible time for sports. Thanks to everybody carrying the ball for me, and for all the support. Enjoy the games everybody - I’ll be back as fast as I can," he announced.

Our thoughts are certainly with Greenberg as he makes his recovery this week.

"Since my departure with the Colts was so abrupt and really not for a good reason, I no longer have a feeling of pride with my rings," Jansen said.There weren't any tears shed at 2764 E. 55th Place, where Ripley Auctions does business, taking the items clients drop off, putting them up for bid and turning them into cold hard cash. But there were definitely memories, Jansen said, and a split second of hesitation. But that quickly dissipated as those rings, in Jansen's heart, were now forever tarnished.

"Hope u feel better the show is not the same without you get well," another fan wrote.

"Get well Mike. No voice is saying they want the other guy," another fan added.

"Why is everyone against greeny? You all should be ashamed of yourselves. He is my favorite person to watch and listen too. Can’t believe it. Love greeny makes my day better," another fan added.
