3 Behind-the-Scenes Secrets From Harry and Meghan's Dreamy Engagement Photo Shoot

3 Behind-the-Scenes Secrets From Harry and Meghan's Dreamy Engagement Photo Shoot Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released three stunning official portraits to celebrate their recent engagement on Thursday, and the details behind their dreamy shoot are just as romantic as the photos themselves! The location has special meaning. Harry and Meghan shot their engagement photos at Frogmore House, which is located about a mile from Windsor Castle. The 17th-century English country house, which has been a royal retreat for more than 300 years, was the perfect backdrop for the newly engaged couple’s romantic photo shoot. “Windsor is a very special place for Prince Harry, and he and Ms. Markle have regularly spent time there during the last year,” a Kensington Palace spokesman previously said. The couple will also tie the knot on May 19 at George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Frogmore House was also where Harry’s cousin, Peter Phillips, son of the Queen’s daughter, Princess Anne, held his wedding reception in 2008. Meghan would have had the opportunity to discuss the reception venue with Peter during the Queen’s annual Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday. The photographer is a prince! The couple chose fashion and celebrity photographer Alexi Lubomirski to shoot their engagement photos. And while he has major celebrity ties (he has snapped everyone from Julia Roberts to Angelina Jolie), he also has royal ties. The photographer, who is based in New York, is a prince of the Polish House of Lubomirski.

There is another British royal wedding coming and another Lifetime TV movie on the way about the romance that led to it.

The cable network is prepping Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story, a film that chronicles the relationship between Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle, who announced their engagement in November. The project was mentioned briefly Sunday by Lifetime head of programming Liz Gateley during the cable network’s portion of TCA.

Harry & Meghan chronicles the courtship and love story between a beloved prince and his new fiancé. The film will examine the history of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from the moment they met after being set up by friends, through their initial courtship when they were able to keep their romance under wraps, and ultimately the intense global media attention surrounding their relationship and Meghan’s life as a divorced American actress.

A Royal Fan Took the Best Photo of Harry, Meghan, Will and Kate on Christmas — See the Amazing Shot!

A Royal Fan Took the Best Photo of Harry, Meghan, Will and Kate on Christmas — See the Amazing Shot! As they always do, professional photographers camped out at Sandringham, Queen Elizabeth‘s Norfolk home, on Christmas Day, waiting to snap pictures of the royal family making their annual walk to St. Mary Magdalene church. But this year, it was a royal fan who got the day’s most coveted shot. Karen Murdoch is a Norfolk native who went to Sandringham on Christmas morning with her daughter in hopes of getting a glimpse of the royals — including Meghan Markle‘s royal Christmas debut! And as Meghan, Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton passed, she yelled “Merry Christmas!” at the foursome and took a photo on her iPhone. “I’m just very bubbly by nature and I was with my daughter and I got a bit excitable, I suppose,” she told the BBC. “I was just sort of shouting and I just went ‘Merry Christmas!’ like an idiot. I was fan-girling. That’s all I said and got them to look.” The resulting picture is about as perfect as she could have hoped. Harry and Kate are looking straight at the camera. They all have smiles on their faces. William and Kate are holding hands (something they rarely do in public!). Meghan’s holding Harry’s arm. All four are together, walking side-by-side. It’s a history-making image, too: This is the first occasion that all four royals (well, three, and one soon-to-be!) have appeared in public together. And now, it’s on the front page of practically every newspaper in the U.K., including TheTelegraph, the Daily Mail, TheGuardian and The Sun.

Scottish Sweethearts! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Spend Valentine's Eve in a Castle .
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received (another!) royal welcome in Scotland on the eve of their first Valentine’s Day as an engaged couple. The pair arrived in the Scottish capital of Edinburgh shortly before lunchtime on Tuesday, where they were met by a crowd at the Esplanade in front of the famed Edinburgh Castle. They were officially welcomed to the city by the Royal Marines Scotland Band. Harry, 33, who became Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Marines last year, and Meghan, 36, used the occasion to shake as many hands as possible and greet well-wishers who had been waiting in the shadow of the castle through the morning. Harry and Meghan spent some time greeting the massive crowds that had lined up to meet them during their day in the Scottish capital city. Meghan thanked people for waiting outside in the chilly Scottish weather. Meghan, fittingly, wore a tartan coat from iconic British brand Burberry for the occasion, with a black turtleneck, black pants and a green crossbody bag from Scotland-based handbag designer Strathberry. Edinburgh is the latest stop on Meghan and Harry’s informal “engagement tour,” featuring day trips to the four corners of the United Kingdom before they marry on May 19. The couple’s last trip away from London was to Cardiff, Wales, where they visited another historic castle. Within the walls of the magnificent castle — which sits atop volcanic rock — Meghan and Harry are set to observe the firing of the One O’Clock Gun.
