  ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ Season 2 Trailer Promises ‘More Villainous Treachery’ Lemony Snicket fans beware: according to “A Series of Unfortunate Events'” season 2 trailer, things will get much worse in the Netflix adaptation’s sophomore season. Beginning with a narration from Patrick Warburton’s Lemony Snicket, the trailer is soon interrupted by Neil Patrick Harris’ Count Olaf, who characteristically breaks the fourth wall by expressing his frustration with Netflix’s marketing technique, and goes on to promise “more villainous treachery, more treacherous villains, angry villagers, unwanted elective surgeries, man-eating lions” and “more violence, fire, and despair.

Lost in Space finally has a launch date. Netflix has announced that its reboot will lift off on Friday, April 13 — a decidedly unlucky day for the Robinson family.

The drama, which was ordered to series last June, will take its cues from the original ’60s series. Set 30 years in the future, the Robinson clan finds itself among those first selected to colonize space. They are forced to come together and forge new alliances after crash-landing on a lost planet, which is light years from their intended destination.

a man looking at the camera © Provided by TVLine Toby Stephens (Black Sails) and Molly Parker (Deadwood) play parents/scientists John and Maureen Robinson, while Taylor Russell (Falling Skies), Ignacio Serricchio (General Hospital) and Parker Posey (Louie) round out the cast as daughter Judy Robinson, blue-collar contractor Don West and the manipulative Dr. Smith.
