The wait for the second Bill Cosby trial isn’t over yet. This morning, with opening statements scheduled, Judge Steven O’Neill announced a delay as he makes a decision regarding a selected juror the defense claims told another potential juror that Cosby was guilty.

O’Neill said the attorneys would meet with the juror in a private conference. He did not say how long the opening statements might be delayed.

The motion involves Juror 11. He’s a white man who looks to be in his 20s and 30s who said during jury selection last week he harbored no opinion about the case. But Cosby’s attorneys said the juror relayed an opinion that Cosby was guilty to another potential juror as they waited to be interviewed. They’ve asked for Juror 11 to be removed from the jury panel.
