EntertainmentHidden Stan Lee cameo in Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse revealed
Tom Holland swings back into action in first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer
Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer: Tom Holland swings back into action in first 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' trailer Spider-Man: Far From Home will hit theaters on July 5 — just over two months after Avengers: Endgame debuts on April 26 (which will presumably explain how Spidey went from being dust to gallivanting around Europe). It was hard to miss Stan Lee’s posthumous cameo in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Theaters practically wept in unison. But it turns out there was another, more secretive appearance most (if not all) of us missed.
Nick Kondo, an animator on the film, posted a video of the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment on social media Monday ahead of the Spider-Verse Blu-ray drop in March.
The snippet shows a shot from the closing sequence of Miles Morales, now officially suited up as Spider-Man, swinging through New York City. Slowing it down reveals Stan “The Man” was actually on the subway train the newly minted web-slinger runs along, making his favorite Spider-Man pose.
Everything you need to know about Mysterio, Jake Gyllenhaal’s Spider-Man villain
Mysterio is a Hollywood special effects-designer-turned-supervillain The first trailers for Spider-Man: Far From Home have given us our first look at Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio, the classic Spider-Man villain with a dome on his head. © Marvel Mysterio Once upon a time, Gyllenhaal was considered for the role of the webslinger himself, after Tobey Maguire injured his back during the filming of Seabiscuit. But this summer the actor will find himself playing antagonist to Tom Holland, who returns to the role of Peter Parker after being snapped in Avengers: Infinity War (he seems fine now).
This is one of many “cameos” Lee had in the Oscar-nominated animated feature. Co-director Bob Perschietti pointed some of them out during an interview with Collider. “The easiest to spot, because you don’t have to stop the film, is when Peter and Miles are on the ground on the sidewalk, after they’d fallen from the train, there’s a dog who smells them with a guy who walks over them. That’s Stan again. On his way home from work,” he said. “But then I will say, there are many, many train scenes. Subway shots. If you just pause, he’s in a lot of them. That guy is all over New York. He’s a busy man.”
Have fun going through the Spider-Verse frame by frame to find them all after the film comes out on DVD and Blu-ray this March 19.

Huge spider eats an opossum. Scientists excited by find..
It was almost midnight in the Peruvian Amazon, when scientists from the University of Michigan heard a scratching noise in the leaves and saw a dinner-plate-sized tarantula dragging a mouse opossum along the forest floor. The spider had grabbed the opossum -- a small furry creature known as a mouse opossum -- by the neck and it was still twitching when the scientists found the pair. They watched for about five minutes and were able to document the moment on video, before the spider hauled its prey behind a tree root to enjoy its meal in peace.
