Blues hoping road success continues in Game 7

Blues hoping road success continues in Game 7 The Blues are 9-3 away from Enterprise Center this postseason. “We had a lot of practice on the road in January and February,” said Blues head coach Craig Berube. “I think that really helped a lot.” [NBC 2019 STANLEY CUP PLAYOFF HUB] What Berube is referencing is the stretch that started the turnaround of the Blues’ season. In January and February, St. Louis went 11-3-2 on the road and during that 11-game winning streak eight of those wins happened away from home.

Jeffrey Katzenberg's short-form video service Quibi is developing a modern update of the 1999 high school film, "Varsity Blues."

"Stuber" writer Tripper Clancy is penning the script, which will be executive produced by the film's original producers Mike Tollin and Tova Laiter. Tollin will executive produce alongside John Gatins and Peter Guber. The project comes from Tollin and Guber's MSM and Paramount Television.

Anne Fletcher will direct. The film starred James Van Der Beek, Paul Walker and Scott Caan as Texas high school football players who deal with an overbearing and demanding coach (Jon Voight). "For all those who cheered Mox's refrain, 'I don't want your life,' as well as all those who never heard of the West Canaan Coyotes, we're thrilled to bring Varsity Blues to Quibi and into the 21st century," said Tollin.

" Varsity Blues " explores our obsession with sports and how teenage athletes respond to the extraordinary pressures places on them. Out of all the MTV movies I've seen, " Varsity Blues " was definitely the best. It's cast did great acting and good portrayals of high school students and teachers.
