Justin Hartley on How He's 'Analyzed' His Personal Life Amid Quarantine (Exclusive)
ET spoke with the 'This Is Us' star about how he's spending his time in quarantine and how he hurt his arm."From the time I remember, my parents will tell you that, when I was a kid, I was always reflecting on on my personal life and trying to be better, and that's an attribute probably to my parents," the 43-year-old actor, who filed for divorce from Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause last year, tells ET. "You're always trying to better yourself and hopefully my daughter has the same thing. COVID and the quarantine has given us all a little more time to sit there and really analyze, but not overanalyze.
Chrishell Stause found out that her marriage to Justin Hartley's was over after he sent her a text message, she claims.
Fans learned more about the pair's split when season 3 of 'Selling Sunset' dropped on Friday. As Hartley has yet to publicly address his and Stause's split, viewers have just the reality star's side of the story -- and they're not happy with Hartley. Fans have taken to social media slamming the This Is Us star for the way he supposedly ended things... and Stause appears to be having fun with the tweets.
"I found out because he texted me that we were filed [for divorce]," she said while tearing up, confirming earlier reports that she was "blindsided" by the sudden divorce.
Justin filed for divorce from Chrishell last November seemingly out of the blue, as there appeared to be no sign of trouble in their two-year marriage. In addition, the duo had attended several events together in the months leading up to the divorce filing, including one on Nov. 14, merely eight days before he filed paperwork in court. Chrishell was even wearing her ring in a post to her Instagram Story the day before Justin went to the Los Angeles courthouse to put the kibosh on the relationship.
While speaking to Mary in the sneak peek for an upcoming episode of Netflix's "Selling Sunset," Chrishell said she thought Justin — who she was with for six years — was joking when he sent the text. She added that just "45 minutes" after the paperwork was filed "the world knew."
Sofia Pernas Goes Public with Justin Hartley as They Enjoy 'Easy' Sunday Together
Justin Hartley filed for divorce from Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause in November 2019 Hours later, Hartley, 43, posted a snap of himself sitting in a pool and holding a dog. Atop the photo, he wrote a nearly identical caption to the one written on Pernas' post. "Paisley like Sunday mornin,'" the text on Hartley's Instagram Story stated.
Acknowledging that the split was "crazy" Chrishell, 39, said she still has questions about what happened with their split. However, she and Justin no longer speak.
"I talked to him like right after [the filing] because I thought that must be a joke, but that was kind of the end of the communication. What do you say after that?" she said, adding that she recalled thinking, "Now I have to find a place to live. Now I have to scramble to figure this out."
Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in the summer of 2020, starting with this shocking news... During an interview with Angela Yee that appeared on his YouTube channel on June 30, August Alsina claimed that he and Jada Pinkett Smith had an affair after her son, Jaden Smith, introduced them in 2015 -- and that her husband, Will Smith, was fully aware of the romance and even gave them "his blessing" to see each other. On the July 10 episode of her Facebook Watch series "Red Table Talk," the 48-year-old actress admitted that she did, in fact, have a romantic "entanglement" with the singer, who's now 27, about four years ago while briefly "separated amicably" from her hubby. (They also clarified that although Will was aware of the relationship, he never gave his wife "permission" to date anyone -- because only she has that power.) Ultimately, Jada reconciled with the A-list actor and reached a "new place of unconditional love" in their marriage. They haven't spoken to August since... Keke Palmer, meanwhile, was dragged into the Smith family drama after an old photo of her and August sitting in a car together resurfaced on Twitter. When a fan asked her about the pic on July 10, the actress replied, "August was never my man lol." The singer quickly caught wind of Keke's tweet and fired back, alleging that they dated -- and that he was the one who called things off between them after her pals "begged" him not to "further disturb [her] mental instability." She then hinted on Instagram (without mentioning August or his allegations about their past directly) that there was more to the story: "I wanna be mean, but I can't. I want to post screenshots, but I won't," she captioned a selfie, adding that she "wouldn't feel good kicking someone when they are down." Now keep reading for more celeb love life updates...
Weird Food Combinations That Celebrities Love: Mussels and Watermelon, More
Peanut butter, jelly and … Cheetos? Believe it or not, those are the three ingredients that comprise Channing Tatum’s “perfect sandwich,” and that’s just the tip of the bizarre food combo iceberg. While the 21 Jump Street star likes his sandwiches with a cheesy crunch, Adrienne Bailon prefers hers with a fruity flavor. More specifically, the Cheetah Girls star makes her tuna salad with fruit punch before she puts it between two slices of bread. As if that wasn’t odd enough, the That’s So Raven alum then dips the sandwich in even more fruit punch for an added dose of sweetness. According to a January 2019 YouTube video about her eating habits, that’s just one of Bailon’s interesting culinary quirks. The “Step Up” singer also likes white rice smothered in peanut butter and banana slices in her cheese quesadillas. “You have to have an open heart and an open mind for this one,” she said of the “bomb” taste sensation. Celebrities Eating on Private Planes Read article Selena Gomez is another star who has a fondness for questionable food pairings. As the “Lose You to Love Me” singer explained during a July 2010 appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, she likes her popcorn with Tabasco sauce and a dash of salt and she then dips the movie snack in some “optional” pickle juice. Though Fallon was initially wary of trying the savory snack, upon giving it a taste he deemed it “really phenomenal” and called it his “new favorite popcorn.
