How exactly the show will run this year is not yet known. In a teaser, , which was published on Instagram , it says: "One Stage", which suggests that despite the pandemic, all artists will perform on one and the same stage. An announcement on the Grammy homepage reads : "The artists come together and yet are separated from one another to play music for one another and as a community and to celebrate the music that unites us all."

In addition, the "Music's Biggest Night", as the Grammys are commonly called, pays tribute to the independent venues who have suffered particularly from the pandemic. This year, bartenders and cashiers from various clubs or concert halls will be presenting the different categories. The 63rd Grammy Awards will take place on March 14th and will be broadcast live on CBS. In Germany, the show can only be seen by Telekom customers via MagentaTV and MagentaMusik 360.
