Aaron Rodgers says a Jeopardy contestant took a jab at the Packers' playoff loss Aaron Rodgers is taking over as the host of Jeopardy! for two weeks, which might be the sort of thing that excites you. But even if it isn't, you still might want to tune in to see the Packers star do his best Alec Trebek imp ression for at least one episode. Rodgers told ESPN he put in hours of study and took copious notes while preparing for the role, but that’s not what we care about here at For the Win. We care about the viral moments, and, apparently, one contestant gave us one by taking a jab at the Packers. Based on Rodgers’ description, it’s easy to figure out what the jab was in reference to. Anderson Cooper had a tough act to follow, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, in his two-week Jeopardy guest-host stint, and it showed in the ratings.

The 53-year-old CNN anchor began his guest-hosting stint on April 19, with ratings for that first week falling to a 5.1, the lowest ratings of any Jeopardy guest host, according to The Wrap.

The ratings were also said to be impacted by extensive daytime coverage of Derek Chauvin's murder trial on April 19 and 20, the latter of which was when the guilty verdict was announced.

The 5.1 rating also dropped Jeopardy out of the top spot for game shows, with Family Feud taking over with a 5.5 rating.
