This is Ballerini's first time hosting the fan-voted awards show, while Brown returns for a second year as emcee.

The 2021 CMT Music Awards are here! Some of country music's biggest stars have turned out to see who will take home the coveted awards.

Going into this year's show, hosts Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown actually led the pack in nominations, with Brown getting four noms -- including Video of the Year, Male Video of the Year, Collaborative Video of the Year and Best Family Feature.

Meanwhile, Ballerini tied with Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town with a grand total of three nominations each.

ET will be updating the list bellow throughout the big night, with the winners marked in bold.

CMT to honor Black country music pioneer Linda Martell

  CMT to honor Black country music pioneer Linda Martell NEW YORK (AP) — Linda Martell, one of the pioneers for Black acts in country music and the first Black woman to perform solo at the Grand Ole Opry, will be honored at the 2021 CMT Music Awards. The 86-year-old will receive the CMT Equal Play Award at Wednesday night's show. Mickey Guyton, who this year became the first solo Black woman nominated for a country Grammy Award, will present the honor to Martell, while Black artists including Darius Rucker, Rissi Palmer and Rhiannon Giddens will congratulate the legend in a video package highlighting her career. Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Nettles, last year's CMT Equal Play Award recipient, will also honor Martell.
