Supernatural creator Eric Kripke, who is not involved in the spinoff,his support for the project and appeared to imply that scheduling issues had kept Jared from participating. Eric posted that the new show's team has "the perfect people to make it" before adding as a parenthetical, "The other perfect person is too busy Texas Rangering."
