Top dog: Greek leader's pet interrupts news conference ATHENS, Greece (AP) — Peanut has met several visiting European leaders since becoming Greece’s top dog back in April. On Thursday, the golden-haired former stray decided to give himself a louder introduction -- briefly interrupting a news conference being held by the prime ministers of Greece and Slovakia. Greek Premier Kyriakos Mistotakis expressed support for the country’s Balkan neighbors efforts to join the European Union, and froze momentarily as Peanut could be heard barking loudly a few meters away at the prime minister’s official residence.

Beatrice and Edo appeared to take advantage of the trip to also enjoy a little sight-seeing when in the Greek capital.

Sharing snaps from their holiday, Edo wrote on Instagram: 'The Acropolis of Athens and the magnificent Parthenon #athens #acropolis #parthenon.'

In the photo with his son, Edo sports a stylish sunhat and a crisp white shirt, while his five-year-old youngster is turned away from the camera, dressed in a pair of green shorts and a stripey T-shirt.

Beatrice's husband also posted several images of the remarkable Ancient Greek ruins.

Greece: Afghan refugees fly to Portugal for resettlement ATHENS, Greece (AP) — Authorities in Greece said that 41 Afghan refugees flew from Athens to Portugal on Tuesday, as part of a bilateral agreement to resettle 1,000 people who have been granted asylum. The Afghans traveled to Greece before the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan in August. Another 43 are expected to fly to Portugal in the coming weeks, Greek officials said. Athens is seeking to reduce the number of refugees living in the country through bilateral agreements with other European Union members.

It’s unclear if the couple were joined on holiday by their newborn daughter, Sienna Elizabeth, who was born five weeks ago at London's Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Philippos and Nina had made the guestlist for the wedding of Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank in 2018, while Nina is also good friends with Edo.

For the wedding, Eugenie opted for a black dress designed by Peter Pilotto which featured gold button detailing, and completed the look with a Gabriela Hurst clutch, Carvela heels and sunglasses.

Beatrice looked stunning in a Gucci dress which features a cream top and a black bottom, accessorised with a bow.

Among the guestlist were King Constantine of Greece (Prince William's godfather) and Queen Anne-Marie of Denmark, who still use their royal titles despite the abolition of the Greek monarchy in 1973.
