Premier League transfer news live, today! Latest updates on the summer window We are set for a very busy summer of transfer activity, as the latest transfer news keeps flooding in and plenty of big names are expected to be on the move in the coming months. Your browser does not support this video [ VIDEO: Premier League analysis ] The 2022 summer transfer window opens on June 10 and closes at 6pm ET on September 1. With Erling Haaland already signing for Manchester City, Kylian Mbappe staying at PSG (for now), plus Sadio Mane leaving Liverpool — and plenty of other superstars in demand and contemplating moves — this feels like it will be a summer like no other.

With a new director, the opera Leipzig will go into the coming season. Tobias Wolff officially started his post on Monday. He succeeds Ulf Schirmer, who had said goodbye to the “Wagner 22” festival this summer.

Wolff wants to re -position the opera house together with his team in the city. To do this, he plans a variety of new conversation formats and opportunities for the audience to look behind the scenes of opera, musical comedy and ballet. "We have great desire for this city," said Wolff at the presentation of the game plan for the 2022/23 season.

At the opera there are five premieres on the game plan. With “Undine” or “Othello” there are fabrics that are more current than expected given the crises in the world. After the Wagner festival days this summer, the Wagner repertoire will be down a little in the next season. However, some pieces such as the “Master singers of Nuremberg” and “Lohengrin” should remain on the game plan.

For the ballet there are three premieres. The musical comedy, a freshly renovated musical and operetta house, is planning four new pieces.
