A senior Taiwanese official in charge of a missile production program died of a heart attack on Saturday in a hotel, said the institute where he worked, when China leads the biggest military maneuvers in his history Around Island.
Ouyang Li-Hsing, 57, was the vice-president of the Chung-Shan National Institute of Sciences and Technologies, an army organization. According to the Taiwanese agency CNA, he went to the south of the country for business.

In a press release published on its website, the Institute confirmed that the manager was found unconscious on Saturday in a hotel in Hengchun, in the county of Pingtung. "A medico-legal examination determined that the cause of death was a myocardial infarction and angina," said the press release. According to CNA, Mr. Ouyang was responsible for supervising "the production of several types of missiles" and had taken office earlier this year.
