Life sentence for Danish submarine entrepreneur who murdered Swedish journalist
A Danish court sentenced Danish inventor Peter Madsen to life in prison on Wednesday for murdering and dismembering a Swedish journalist aboard his homemade submarine in Copenhagen's harbor in August 2017.Police detained Madsen on Aug. 11 last year when he emerged from his submarine without Wall, 30, with whom he had boarded the home-built vessel the previous day.

Lawyer charged with impersonating judge found dead days from trial
A lawyer who was just days from going on trial on charges she impersonated a Cook County judge was found dead Thursday in her south suburban home.Rhonda Crawford, 46, was pronounced dead at her home in 300 block of Hoxie Avenue in Calumet City, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. An autopsy was scheduled for later Friday.
The trial for Jeffrey Willis is scheduled to last two weeks following Tuesday and Wednesday's jury selection in Muskegon County Circuit Court. Twenty-five-year-old Jessica Heeringa disappeared April 26, 2013, from Norton Shores. Her body has never been found.
Following this trial, Willis is expected to stand trial in the 2016 kidnapping of a teenager who escaped his van and went to police, leading to his arrest.
Willis was convicted last year in the 2014 fatal shooting of jogger Rebekah Bletsch. He's serving a life sentence in her death. Willis denied wrongdoing during the trial.
