Shelburne and Ohm Youngmisuk, the Purple and Gold have talked to their All-Rookie performers about "toning down their social media roasting of each other" in light of Zo's diss track, "Kylie Kuzma," which came in response to Kuz's "Player Hater of the Year" video for Bleacher Report.

Lonzo Ball had PRP injection in left knee after season

Lonzo Ball had PRP injection in left knee after season Lonzo Ball‘s left knee kept him out for nearly six weeks of action last season — first a sprained MCL then later a left knee bruise — and apparently it still was not where the team and Ball wanted it after the season. So, he got a platelet-rich plasma injection in the knee to speed healing once the season ended, something first reported by Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN and later confirmed by other reports.“I just got back [on the court],” Ball told ESPN at the Big Baller Brand Junior Basketball Association media day at Citizens Business Bank Arena, where he joined his father and brothers. “But I have been lifting weights.

After Lonzo Ball released his diss track on Kyle Kuzma , the Lakers had to step in to stop all the trolling . Were you enjoying all the roasting? Let us know

Ball and Kuzma proved to be close friends throughout the 2017-18 campaign, with the Troll Wars serving as a hallmark therein, so any real rift developing between them in this case seemed unlikely.

For the Lakers, though, it's important to maintain a professional, buttoned-up image ahead of free agency. There's so much at stake for L.A. this summer-between the gobs of cap space at the team's disposal and the superstar targets (i.e. LeBron James, Paul George) to fill it-that the franchise can't afford any unnecessary tarnish off the court.

That said, so long as Zo and Kuz remain close collaborators on the court and friends all around, and the talent comes calling during the offseason, none of this should lead to any long-term issues.

The only loss, really, may be the sheer entertainment that comes from watching two young stars go at each other behind the scenes.

Kyle Kuzma , left and Lonzo Ball quickly grew close during their rookie season with the Lakers .
