Legendary astronaut Buzz Aldrin files lawsuit against two of his children, who are trying to take control of his finances

Legendary astronaut Buzz Aldrin files lawsuit against two of his children, who are trying to take control of his finances Legendary astronaut Buzz Aldrin, who has walked on the moon, is facing a major challenge at home — from his kids. Andrew Aldrin and Janice Aldrin say their 88-year-old father is in declining health and want to be able to make financial decisions on his behalf. The NASA icon responded by filing a lawsuit, claiming they slandered him by saying he is suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's. Business manager Christina Korp is also named in the lawsuit, filed earlier this month in Brevard County, Fla.

NBA Insiders believe the New York Knicks will be heavily pursuing Kevin Durant next offseason. Lowe on Kevin Durant : "If you think the Knicks noise is bogus, it's not I'm not saying he's going there I'm saying they are absolutely planning their offseason around him.

Kevin Durant has a little more than five months to make a decision on where he'll play basketball next, whether with the Warriors, the Knicks , or somewhere else. The NBA wouldn't quite have parity, but the playoffs should be much more competitive than the very predictable last two years.

It's been a long time since the New York Knicks have been relevant.

Even when they still had Carmelo Anthony over a year ago, they were never contenders by any definition of the word. They're going to need a big star if they want to elevate to even a playoff level, and they could find one in a man who has no problem leaving a team behind.

ESPN insiders Zach Lowe and Brian Windhorst believe that the Knicks are going to heavily pursue Kevin Durant next summer.

Can you imagine him leaving the best team ever assembled to play for the Knicks? What an upside-down world that would be.

We know Durant is staying in Golden State for the time being as he just signed a two-year max contract with the Warriors, but he has a player option after the 2018-19 season. Depending on what happens with Golden State next season, he could leave to become the savior New York has been looking for.

The curious part is, why would he want to go to New York? Having his own team and leaving Golden State behind makes sense, but there isn't much going on there at the moment. Kristaps Porzingis is an absolute stud, he'd be reuniting with former teammate Enes Kanter, they have potential prospects in Frank Ntilikina and Kevin Knox, but is that enough?

Who knows, but it would be good for basketball. The Warriors' superteam would be broken up and basketball in a huge market would be relevant again.

Let's get crazy. Head to New York, KD.

Kevin Durant jokes Warriors 'ruined it' with offseason moves .
Kevin Durant is very tired of hearing about how the Golden State Warriors ruined the NBA despite teams passing up the chance to make moves to at least make things more difficult for them. At a Nike press conference in the Philippines on Sunday, Durant joked that the Warriors “ruined it” some more after signing DeMarcus Cousins for the mid-level exception.“I don’t see how everybody let him fall to us but I guess we ruined it,” Durant said, via Delfin Dioquino of Rappler.
