It’s one of the little-discussed elements of a schedule: Travel miles.

The NBA has worked to reduce the overall number in recent years, and at least there is more rest built into all those miles, but it’s still a lot of travel. A lot.

Who has the most? It’s always the teams on the more spread out West Coast. From one of the great, early adopter NBA stats guys Ed Küpfer (a must follow on Twitter):

This year's UCF? These Group of Five schools could make noise in playoff debate .
It's up for debate whether the College Football Playoff is truly attainable for a Group of Five team, as evidenced by 2017 UCF’s snub. But which Group of Five schools could run the table and enter the conversation this year?A pessimist would probably say it was the worst. UCF went undefeated but finished No. 12 in the final College Football Playoff rankings, securing a New Year’s Six berth but dooming all future Group of Five hopefuls to a ceiling below the final four.
