  Suspect arrested in connection with sheriff's father's death Authorities say an Arkansas man has been arrested in Tennessee in connection with the slaying of the father of an Oklahoma sheriff. Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, Sheriff Larry Lane says 44-year-old Ricky Rainwater of Fort Smith was arrested Monday in Memphis and jailed pending extradition to Oklahoma.

The son of the owner of a restaurant was arrested Wednesday after he and two other men participated in a drive-by shooting into the home of a person who gave the business a bad review, according to an arrest affidavit.

Michael Johnson, 41, and his roommate Jesse Martin, 23, are facing charges of shooting into a building, shooting from a vehicle and abuse of a disabled person. A third person, Norman Auvil, was arrested last month on the same charges.

Orange County deputies say Monica Walley wrote a Facebook post on Aug. 20 claiming that Daybreak Diner on Curry Ford Road near Crystal Lake Drive refused to serve her disabled mother, the affidavit said.

Authorities say 38-year-old Maurice Butler was arrested Thursday on suspicion of three counts of first-degree murder. Formal charges have not been filed yet. It's not clear if Butler has an attorney to comment on his behalf.Police say Butler knew at least two of the victims. They say the killings were "not a random incident," but they have not discussed motive.Online jail records show Butler has been in custody since Aug. 13, when he was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

The three men were drinking beer that night and were angry about the review, the affidavit said.

Martin found Walley's address online, and the trio drive to the home "with the intent to harm someone" or cause property damage, according to the affidavit. With Johnson driving and Martin navigating, Auvil fired three shots into the home when they drove by, the affidavit said.

Martin and Johnson have since bonded out of the jail. Auvil remains on a $4,300 bond.

Man charged in two shootings three months apart .
We're learning more about a man charged in two shootings in the last three months. On July 25, police said a man was shot while leaving the Lindo Mexico restaurant on Central Avenue. Police arrested Mariano Gallegos. Gallegos was charged with a number of crimes, including shooting at or from a vehicle, trafficking controlled substances, evidence tampering and resisting arrest.
