Patrick J. Adams to Return for 'Suits' Final Season

Patrick J. Adams to Return for 'Suits' Final Season Patrick J. Adams will return to USA's "Suits" for its ninth and final season, USA Network told TheWrap. He is set to reprise his role as Mike Ross, the on-screen husband of Rachel Zane, who was played by the now-Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle. Per the cable channel, Adams will come back mid-season to get involved in a case that puts him toe to toe with Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl). Ross — and thus, Adams — left the series at the end of Season 7 to move to Seattle with Rachel. When TheWrap asked USA if Markle will return, the net referred us to series creator Aaron Korsch's pretty consistent remarks about that popular question.

The House Oversight and Reform Committee will vote on Wednesday on whether to hold Attorney General William Barr and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross in contempt for failing to comply with congressional subpoenas.

Committee chairman Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) said last week he would schedule the contempt votes after both of the officials' agencies did not hand over subpoenaed documents relating to the Trump administration's efforts to add a citizenship question to the 2020 census.

"Both Secretary Ross and Attorney General Barr are refusing to comply with duly authorized subpoenas from Congress. Because they are in contempt of Congress, on Wednesday, the Committee will vote to move forward to enforce our bipartisan subpoenas," Cummings said in a statement Monday.

"I continue to hope that they will change course and begin producing the information we need to do our job under the Constitution."
