Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Sunday hit back at President Trump after he tweeted that a group of progressive Democrats should "go back" to their home countries.

"They're from America, and you're right about one thing: Currently their government is a complete and total catastrophe," Clinton tweeted.

Trump earlier on Sunday said that "'Progressive' Democrat Congresswomen" should "go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came" before criticizing policies in the U.S.

Hillary Clinton condemned President Donald Trump 's reported comment Thursday about "shithole countries " in a tweet Friday marking the anniversary of the earthquake in Haiti.
