The footage cuts off as police push protesters away from the man on the ground.

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) said the incident was under internal investigation, adding the information was referred to the King County Sheriff's Office for a potential criminal investigation, The Washington Post reported.

The protester was not injured and was arrested and booked at Seattle's jail, police detective Mark Jamieson told the Post.

The Hill contacted SPD but did not immediately receive a response.

Seattle police said they made more than a dozen arrests Wednesday evening as demonstrators protested the Kentucky grand jury's ruling about the police shooting of Breonna Taylor which did not charge the three officers in her death on March 13.
