WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump complained Tuesday about a contentious interview with "60 Minutes," and said he might post the tape of it before the program's scheduled broadcast on Sunday in protest.

"This will be done so that everybody can get a glimpse of what a FAKE and BIASED interview is all about," Trump said in a pair of tweets hours after contentious exchanges with "60 Minutes" correspondent Lesley Stahl.

Trump, who has often protested coverage of "60 Minutes," did not provide any examples of bias.

Trump abruptly ended the session – he didn't do the traditional "walk-and-talk" with Stahl, and said the "60 Minutes" crew had been given enough time – nor did he return for a joint interview with Vice President Mike Pence, said two people familiar with the incident.

The president also sent out an attack tweet about Stahl, chiding her for not wearing a mask at the White House just a few weeks after COVID-19 raced through the building.

Trump added, cryptically, "much more to come."

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany also tweeted about Stahl, posting a picture of the CBS correspondent holding a book listing the administration's health care policies.

"She couldn’t believe how HUGE it was and said, “I can hardly lift this," McEnany said of Stahl.

The interview Trump did do will be part of a "60 Minutes" program on the election to air Sunday.

The CBS program will broadcast taped interviews on Sunday with all four national candidates: Trump and Pence, as well as Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and running mate Kamala Harris.

CBS officials did not comment on any problems at the White House.

'60 Minutes' Airs Interview with Trump, Showing Contrasts with Version President Leaked .
The president posted what he claimed was unedited footage of the interview with Lesly Stahl last week. Last night, CBS News told another story.The video Trump posted on his official Facebook page was taken from what he called "unedited" footage recorded by the White House for archival purposes. The nearly 38 minute video began with Stahl asking the president if he was ready for some "tough questions," to which he responded that he expected her to "just be fair." The conversation went downhill from there, with Trump becoming increasingly uncomfortable during the line of questioning.
