Caitlyn Jenner announced on Friday that she had filed papers to run for governor of California. Jenner , a former Olympian and reality television star, is running as a Republican and hoping to unseat longtime Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom in a recall election. And to make matters worse, Jenner is particularly unqualified, and running on the backs of former Trump staffers and conservatives. Her campaign team includes Brad Parscale, a former Trump campaign manager and Russian agent, and Tony Fabrizio, the GOP pollster whose internal polling data went to Russian intelligence.

Jenner, a lifelong Republican attempting to unseat Gavin Newsom in a recall election, skated around the question.

“I’m not going to get into that. That election is over with. I think Donald Trump did do some good things,” she said. “What I liked about liked about Donald Trump is he was a disruptor.”

Behar’s follow-up went unanswered, and co-host Whoopi Goldberg ended the interview because it was running long.

Earlier, Jenner said she’d hired some people from Trump’s 2020 campaign, which lost to Biden, to help with her gubernatorial run.

In an April episode of “The View,” Behar misgendered Jenner multiple times and later apologized. Jenner told Behar, “Don’t sweat it.”
