President Joe Biden traveled to Delaware solo Wednesday afternoon for his first trip as president to his Rehoboth Beach house to celebrate first lady Jill Biden's 70th birthday.'No birthday plans. When Joe Biden meets the Queen later this month, he will be the 13th American President to do so during her reign. The only US leader she didn't cross paths with was Lyndon B. Johnson. Biden will drop in on her at Windsor Castle, where she's been living during the pandemic, while in the UK for the G7 summit in southwest England. The meeting marks Biden's first time meeting with the British monarch since he was inaugurated earlier this year, as well as the queen's 13th meeting with a sitting US president.

The sovereign's presence in the seaside town of Carbis Bay came as a surprise, according to, as she joined leaders from the US, the UK, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, and Italy.
