Jill Biden to meet the Queen

Jill Biden to meet the Queen Almost five months into her new job, Jill Biden is still revealing what kind of first lady she wants to be, but one thing is already clear: you can call her "Jill."Biden has insisted at just about every turn that people address her by her first name. She means it -- people actually call her that or, sometimes, "Dr. B." The familiar approachability is part of the Biden narrative, and an aspect of her personality into which she leans hard.

The queen hosted the president and first lady Jill Biden at Windsor Castle, her royal residence near London. Biden flew to London after wrapping up his participation in a three-day summit of leaders of the world's wealthy democracies in Cornwall, in southwestern England. He arrived at the castle aboard the presidential helicopter and was ferried to the queen in a black Range Rover.

Jackson told Fox News's Sean Hannity on Thursday he is circulating a letter among House GOP colleagues because he believes Biden is "not physically, or cognitively fit to be our president right now."

More than a dozen Republicans signed the letter, including Reps. Brian Babin, Pat Fallon, Bob Gibbs, and Jeff Duncan.

"We can't sit on this any longer," Jackson told Hannity on Thursday, according to Fox News. "We need to know that we can trust our president, and we need to know that he's in charge of what's going on and someone else isn't pulling the strings behind the scenes. Because that's what it looks like now."

Biden-Putin summit live updates: 'I'm always ready,' Biden says President Joe Biden will meet face-to-face with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, in Switzerland on Wednesday amid rising tensions between the two countries. The two men will face off inside an 18th-century Swiss villa in Geneva, situated alongside a lake in the middle of the Parc de la Grange. The fifth American president to sit down with Putin, Biden has spoken with him and met him before, in 2016.

The Texas congressman later took to Twitter to confirm he sent the letter to Biden, Biden's physician Kevin O'Connor, and Anthony Fauci, who is the chief medical advisor to the president.

Seventy-eight year old Biden made history this year by becoming the nation's oldest president.

White House officials said last month the president is scheduled to take an annual physical exam "later this year" and will make the results publicly available, according to The Hill.

Jackson joined the White House Medical Unit during the George W. Bush administration. He was promoted to be the top White House physician during the Obama and Trump administrations from 2012 to 2018.

During the Trump presidency, Jackson made headlines when he said he mixed cauliflower into the former president's mashed potatoes in a sneaky attempt to get him to eat more vegetables.

In March, an unpublished Pentagon report obtained by CNN found Jackson allegedly made sexual remarks about a female junior employee, verbally abused subordinates, and drank on the job.

Jackson, who now represents Texas's 13th congressional district in Congress, was one of 14 House Republicans to vote against legislation this week to establish Juneteenth as a federal holiday.

Rep. Ronny Jackson — Trump's controversial ex-doctor — calls for Biden cognitive test .
Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas — former President Donald Trump’s controversial ex-doctor — sent a letter to President Biden on Thursday demanding that he take a cognitive test and make the results public. To achieve this, we urge you to submit to a cognitive test immediately. In 2018, Jackson, the attending White House physician at the time, announced that Trump had requested and aced a cognitive test during a physical examination to disprove claims that his mental health was deteriorating. Jackson also declared Trump to be in “excellent” health despite the fact that the president was nearly obese at the time.
