A second California venue refused to host Matt Gaetz' and Marjorie Taylor Greene's 'America First' tour "The Woketopians are this scared of a dose of #AmericaFirst in California," Gaetz said in a tweet Saturday. The event was scheduled to take place Saturday evening at the Riverside Convention Center but was canceled by Raincross Hospitality Corp., the private company that manages and operates the venue, just 24 hours before it was scheduled to take place, according to a press release from the office of Riverside Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson.

Representative Matt Gaetz is really concerned about the House Committee being formed to investigate the causes of the January 6 th insurrection attempt. He’s issuing warnings and suggestions that seem intended to push GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy towards further action to disrupt the process . As for McCarthy, he hints that if the GOP Leader doesn’t find a new way to derail the committee , he could face serious repercussions. “I think the entire purpose of the January 6 th committee is to create a series of criminal referrals to the Biden Justice Department, and I think that

Matt Gaetz is next in the firing line. Greenberg pleaded guilty in Florida on Monday to six charges , including trafficking minors for sex, stalking, and wire fraud. The sex trafficking charge relates to Greenberg’s gifting of money to young girls he met on a ‘sugar daddy’ website. Greenberg’s case would likely not receive national attention if investigators and the media did not suspect that one of these “other adult men” was Rep. Matt Gaetz , a firebrand Republican and die-hard supporter of former President Donald Trump.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) said that House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol was created with the goal of charging Republican lawmakers with "process crimes."

Gaetz made the remarks while discussing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) appointing Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) to the committee during a Monday interview on Newsmax. The Florida Republican insisted that the commission would ultimately use legal technicalities to target GOP leadership for criminal prosecution.

A third California venue has nixed Matt Gaetz' and Marjorie Taylor Greene's 'America First' tour stop Last week a hotel in Laguna Hills canceled the event. On Friday, a convention center on Riverside followed suit. A venue in Anaheim did the same on Saturday. The Anaheim Event Center in Orange County on Saturday canceled its last-minute plan to host the Southern California tour stop, citing general security concerns, according to city spokesperson Mike Lyster.

Matt Gaetz , R-Fla., has not been charged with a crime , and he has denied allegations that he violated federal sex trafficking laws . A plea deal with Scheller's client, former Florida tax collector Joel Greenberg, could open Gaetz to greater legal jeopardy if Greenberg were to fully cooperate by telling prosecutors everything he knows about illegal activities the two men may have been involved in, legal experts say. Greenberg, who's accused of trafficking minors, could face a lengthy prison sentence, and if he were to try to seek a more lenient punishment, he must cooperate fully.

GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz has deleted a tweet accusing ex-Trump fixer Michael Cohen of philandering and apologized publicly for making the charged allegation. Gaetz claimed in the now deleted tweet, without evidence, that Cohen had multiple 'girlfriends' his wife should be aware of as he prepares to spend time behind bars. He also admitted tax fraud by lying about his income from loans he made, money from taxi medallions he owned, and other sources of income, at a cost to the Treasury of $ 1 .3 million.

"I really do believe that the end goal of the January 6 Committee is to create a series of criminal referrals," Gaetz said. "And remember, during the Russia hoax a lot of the criminal process occurred not as a result of any underlying violation of federal criminal law, but instead as a result of these process crimes."

"So, Kevin McCarthy better hope he never deleted an email or forwarded something to a place where it wasn't saved," he added. "Otherwise, there's going to be an effort to use process crimes to try to jam up the Republican leadership. And I do think it's that serious."

Republicans have largely rejected the select committee, which aims to investigate the cause of the riot. Supporters of former President Donald Trump, many believing baseless claims that the 2020 presidential election had been "stolen" from Trump, violently stormed the Capitol on January 6 in an attempt to stop Congress from certifying President Joe Biden's victory.

The Pacific Hills Banquet & Event Center, a hotel in Laguna Hills, California, was initially slated to host the event, but canceled a week before when they realized who the speakers were, saying they "just want to stay clear of that.

Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) and a slew of other Republicans seemed to think the hearings involving three bipartisan committees just weren't welcoming enough. So ignoring the fact that 48 Republicans were already allowed into what Gaetz described as "secret interviews" to investigate President Trump, he and a few dozen other GOP congressmembers stormed into a secure room Wednesday and delayed a hearing for five hours. Or maybe not, because Jordan himself — along with several other committee members — helped lead the apparent "storming" of the hearing he was undoubtedly welcome to be at.

Matt Gaetz spoke during a press conference Wednesday at the U.S. Capitol just before several dozen House Republicans stormed a secured area with their cell phones in order to block impeachment testimony from a Pentagon staffer. The Democrats' impeachment strategy of gathering evidence through closed-door hearings that deny Republicans the opportunity Steve Scalise, the No. 2 House Republican, charged Wednesday of the closed-door deposition for a Pentagon official. “It should not be allowed in the United States of America. Every member of Congress ought to be allowed in that room.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) announced the formation of the committee after an attempt to create a bipartisan Congressional commission to investigate cause of the riot was blocked by Senate Republicans in May.

Although the select committee was also intended to be bipartisan, Pelosi last week rejected two out of five committee member recommendations from House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.). Pelosi said that the inclusion of Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) would undermine "the integrity of the investigation."

McCarthy withdrew all five of his recommendations in response. Pelosi then appointed Kinzinger and Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) to the commission herself—notably, two of the 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump for allegedly inciting the riot. Gaetz and other Republicans quickly blasted Pelosi's appointments.

Fuellmich is licensed to practice law in Germany and the state of California. He believes the frauds committed by Volkswagen and Deutsche Bank pale in comparison to the damage wrought by those who sold the Covid-19 crisis as the worst viral outbreak to hit the world in more than a century and used it to cause

The GOP leader is under pressure from some members of his Republican caucus to crack down on Cheney and Kinzinger, who joined the panel investigating the MAGA riot at the invitation of Speaker Nancy Pelosi. A spokesperson for Kinzinger added, 'It would speak volumes if he took away their committee assignments to 'punish them' for upholding their oath to protecting our democracy.' 'I will not allow this committee to be turned into a forum for condemning millions of Americans because of their political beliefs.' Two days later he accused Pelosi of running from the facts.

"[Pelosi] knows that if Jim Jordan is on that committee, she'll lose just like she did on the last two impeachments," Gaetz said Monday. "They're picking our weakest members, Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. Our least effective members. And they're doing so in a way that I think is so patently partisan and that will diminish the credibility of this."

Newsweek reached out to Pelosi's office for comment.
