"Over 80% of Congress is vaccinated and I'm NOT sick," the GOP congresswoman tweeted.Greene, a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump, is routinely criticized by Republicans and Democrats alike for promoting conspiracy theories and misinformation. The GOP congresswoman has vocally opposed COVID-19 restrictions, vaccine mandates and masking requirements.
"They have been running this plan for decades now, because the same people running this country—Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi—oh, let's not forget Hillary and, because they're not out of the picture. ," Greene said. "All of these people swore themselves to the communist agenda back when they were in college."
"And they have worked very hard for decades and decades and now you're seeing the fruition," she added. "But what's happening, Steve, is their own donors, their own voters are reeling... people are actually complaining about the effects of their communism that they have pushed really hard and fast over the last nine months."
Greene went on to claim that the "systematic destruction of America" was happening under the rule of Biden, declaring that "our country is on fire and turning into a communist country." Greene said that she became a member ofin January while "raging against this system, refusing to back down and calling out communism." The congresswoman urged to oppose the "communist" Democrats at every possible moment.
