Cory Anthony Booker (born April 27, 1969) is an American politician, attorney, and author who has served as the junior United States Senator from New Jersey since 2013.

Senator Booker ran a principled campaign, and we would like to WELCOME his supporters. Senators Sanders and Booker have shared some memorable moments over the years -- we think you'll feel right at home with us! Everything he had done up to this point was all in service of his ego and his mission to become president. He also supremely stood with big pharma. They are significant job creators in his home state , though, but it still sucks.

Talk about a senatorial mis-state-ment!

Sen. Cory Booker got mixed up on the Senate floor Wednesday, when the New Jersey Democrat got the name of a colleague's home state wrong, not once but twice.

Booker misaddressed fellow Sen. Ben Sasse twice in the Senate, repeatedly forgetting which state Sasse represents. Booker first referred to Sasse's home state as Oklahoma, prompting Sasse to respond jokingly, "Ouch."

Booker attempted to correct himself by mentioning "Omaha" — to which Sasse laughed and responded, "Omaha is not a state."

"I'm sorry," Booker said, giving up. "Where are you from, sir?"

Cory Booker has repeatedly and loudly supported nuclear energy. I wonder if this would become a topic in the debates, and hope more candidates come out supporting solutions that may be necessary to help slow down climate change. Cory Booker shares 74 campaign donors with Mitch McConnel, more than any other Democratic Senator shares with any other Republican Senator . Similar goals maybe? He criticized Obama for attacking Mitt Romney during that election over his connections with Bain Capital.

The response from Corey Booker and Michael Bennett on why they voted against this amendment is even worse. At a minimum I have to give Senator Booker credit for putting his states best interest ahead of his political interests, even though I disagree with his vote. I'm impressed he voted to help his state and not help his larger ambitions. Again, even though I disagree with his vote it makes me more likely to at least believe he is a senator that really fights for New Jersey.

The Nebraska senator responded with a somewhat cryptic hint, saying, "We used to be able to beat Stanford in football, and we will return."

Sasse then laughed the situation off, saying, "Cory's not as funny as I thought he would be there."

Earlier on Wednesday, Booker attended a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing with Attorney General Merrick Garland.

During his allotted time to ask questions, Booker asked Garland if he called on the FBI to monitor school board meetings in a memo. Garland responded that he had not.

Sasse said it was "political hackery that brought that topic to [Garland's] desk, not reality."

Nebraska Group Begins Push for 124,000 Signatures to Force Voter ID Law Onto 2022 Ballot "The people of Nebraska are often referred to as the second house, and our committee is making sure that their voice is heard," said state Senator Julie Slama.Petitions in Nebraska require signatures from 10 percent of registered state voters, which is about 124,000 people. To ensure participation from rural areas, petitions must have signatures from at least 5 percent of registered voters in 38 of the state's 93 counties.

The fact that Cory Booker is out and Tom Steyer is still here is just a testament to how money runs everything. With Julian Castro, Beto O'Rourke, and now Cory Booker all out, who else is there to start answering debate questions in Spanish? He never really seemed to break out during the debates, I don't recall anything of real substance ever coming from him apart from some times he would point out how all these candidates were talking about >insert topic<, but nobody was talking about >insert topic<.

Sen . Cory Booker announced Monday that he will end his campaign after failing to qualify for the Democratic debate planned for Tuesday in Iowa. Submissions that may interest you. He was a passionate, and was not afraid of the realities of the raw deal and difficulties his city faced without tons of great choices for everyone. Still like my former home state Senator and wish him the best even if this was not his campaign to win.
