Washington Nationals sued by ex-employees over vaccine firing

Washington Nationals sued by ex-employees over vaccine firing The Washington Nationals are being sued by two former employees who were fired for refusing to comply with the team’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Lawrence (Larry) Pardo and Brad Holman were pitching coaches in the Nats’ organization. The two refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine for religious reasons and were fired by the Nats as a result. The team instituted a mandate on Aug. 12 that went into effect on Sept. 10, leading to the firing of both men.Now the two have filed a lawsuit against the club, TMZ Sports reports.

From the earliest days of the COVID-19 pandemic, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci has colluded with partners of the Chinese government to cover up how the virus was created.

As the virus first started spreading, Fauci worked with EcoHealth Alliance President Peter Daszak to dismiss claims that the virus could have originated in a Chinese lab.

Fauci continued that campaign on CBS’s Face the Nation Sunday when he invoked the Jan. 6 riot to deflect accusations that he lied to Congress about funding viral research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

In an interview on Saturday with CNN, Fauci repeatedly cited a scientific paper from July that argued in favor of zoonosis and largely dismissed the lab leak hypothesis.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Senator Cruz told the attorney general you should be prosecuted.

DR. FAUCI: Yeah. I have to laugh at that. I should be prosecuted? What happened on Jan. 6, senator?

Fauci is referring to comments Texas Sen. Ted Cruz made at a Senate oversight hearing after the National Institutes of Health released a letter stating that Fauci’s co-conspirator, EcoHealth Alliance, had in fact violated the terms of its NIH grant when researching coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Fauci LAUGHS at Ted Cruz's claim he should be prosecuted

Fauci LAUGHS at Ted Cruz's claim he should be prosecuted Joe Biden's top medical adviser appeared to link GOP Senator Cruz to the January 6 Capitol riot. In Oct the Texas lawmaker told Attorney General Garland that Fauci should be prosecuted. In an interview with CBS News' Face The Nation, President Joe Biden's chief medical adviser also dismissed Republican criticism of his work as 'lies' and agreed with the notion that GOP lawmakers were using him as a scapegoat.

Rutgers Chemical Biology professor Richard Ebright, a longtime critic of gain-of-function research on coronaviruses, has claimed the NIH letter proves EcoHealth Alliance used funds given by Dr. Facui to conduct gain-of-function research.

Fauci hit by Cruz missile in war of words over 'science'

Ted Cruz fired back at Dr. Anthony Fauci in a war of words mixed with a cocktail of science, politics, and COVID-19. © Provided by Washington Examiner The Texas Republican sent a sharply worded tweeted thread in response to Fauci, who is President Joe Biden's chief medical adviser, condemning GOP senators for "dangerous" rhetoric aimed at him, and by extension, science. "Fauci is an unelected technocrat who has distorted science and facts in order to exercise authoritarian control over millions of Americans," Cruz said Sunday evening.

Instead of honestly answering questions about EcoHealth Alliance’s work with the Chinese government at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Fauci would rather invoke the Jan. 6 riots to discredit any real investigations into the true origin of COVID-19.

Throughout his interview with CBS, Fauci repeatedly invoked science to diffuse any criticism of his work. “They're really criticizing science because I represent science. That's dangerous,” Fauci said.

If Fauci truly cared about restoring trust in science, he would call for a full FBI investigation of EcoHelath Alliance’s work with the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Is Sen. Rand Paul or Dr. Fauci Right About Gain-of-Function Research Funding in Wuhan?

Is Sen. Rand Paul or Dr. Fauci Right About Gain-of-Function Research Funding in Wuhan? Gain-of-function is a research method that involves manipulating pathogens to give them a new aspect, such as making viruses more transmissible or dangerous to humans. Dr. Vincent Racaniello, a virologist at Columbia University, said the "key" to the research not being gain-of-function is the viruses the researchers started with could already infect human cells because they could bind to the ACE2 receptor, a protein that serves as the entry point for coronaviruses to infect human cells.

The FBI has thoroughly investigated Jan. 6, and Sen. Cruz was not involved in any way. Let’s let the FBI investigate EcoHealth Alliance and see if the same can be said about Facui and the origin of COVID-19.
