We’re just a few hours away from the end of Fortnite Battle Royale’s third season and now that everyone is running around with their John Wick skins, it’s time to look ahead at what cosmetics the Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass will bring.

As Epic Games has been teasing for the past week, the next Battle Pass will feature superhero-themed skins and other cosmetics. The cosmetics available in the pass include a whole bunch of new skins, including Valor which is sure to be a fan favorite.

Thankfully, there will still be a few rewards available for those who don’t want to throw down 950 V-Bucks ($9.50) to unlock the Season 4 Battle Pass.

Every player who logs in after Season 4 of Fortnite starts will get a free version of the Battle Pass complete with 10 levels’ worth of goodies to unlock. And if you decide to upgrade your pass down the road, any progress you make on the free pass will carry over once you buy the full Battle Pass.

‘Fortnite’ Week 8 Challenges Go Live

‘Fortnite’ Week 8 Challenges Go Live Season 3’s week eight challenges have gone live in “Fortnite” for Battle Pass owners, and that means new ways to earn Battle Stars and experience. By collecting more Battle Stars and upping their tier (up to a season maximum of 100), players can earn rewards like cosmetic outfits and XP boosts. All weekly challenges — including those from previous weeks — are unlocked and available for anyone who purchases the Season 3 Battle Pass, which can be had for 950 in-game “V-Bucks,” or roughly $10.

a man standing in front of a mountain© Epic Games While unlocking rewards by leveling up the Battle Pass is the main way to get this season’s rewards, Epic is going to once again offer players another way to get their hands on this season’s newest skins. Epic will sell Tier upgrades for the Battle Pass on the Fortnite Battle Royale store for 150 V-Bucks each, meaning it would cost around $150 to unlock all 100 tiers. Also on offer from Epic is a version of the Battle Pass that costs 2,800 V-Bucks ($28.00) and comes with the first 25 tiers already unlocked.

The Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass will go live May 1, as soon as the servers are back from patch maintenance. The next season will likely run for a few months, which should give players plenty of time to pick up all 100 tiers of reward including the new final skin, Omega.

PUBG maker drops suit against Epic Games over Fortnite .
PUBG Corp., the developer of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, has withdrawn its lawsuit against Epic Games, the creator of Fortnite, according to a report from Bloomberg. PUBG Corp. sued Epic earlier this year in Korea over concerns that Fortnite Battle Royale infringed PUBG’s intellectual property. It’s not clear why PUBG Corp. ended legal proceedings or if a settlement between the two game makers had been reached, based on Bloomberg’s report. PUBG Corp. went after Epic in May, calling the lawsuit “a measure to protect our copyrights.” In 2017, the studio behind PUBG expressed concern “that Fortnite may be replicating the experience for which PUBG is known” and hinted at taking legal action. Epic Games was originally upfront about Fortnite Battle Royale’s inspiration. “Yeah, we made a PvP mode for Fortnite,” Epic said when the mode was announced last September. “We love Battle Royale games like PUBG and thought Fortnite would make a great foundation for our own version.” Both Epic Games and PUBG Corp. are partly owned by Chinese firm Tencent. Both Fortnite and PUBG also use Epic Games’ Unreal Engine.
