OnePlus officially announces OnePlus 7T, available Oct. 18 for $599 The Chinese phone maker launches its third phone of the year after the OnePlus 7 Pro and 7.The 7T features a 6.55-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, optical fingerprint sensor under the display and three rear cameras centered around a 48-megapixel main shooter with a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and 2x telephoto on board as well, similar to the 7 Pro. Similar to the 6T there is still a teardrop cutout atop the display for the front-facing camera.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and 12GB of RAM put the 7 Pro in iPhone XS territory when it comes to performance power. You don't make that trade-off with the OnePlus 7 Pro . Bottom Line. The OnePlus 7 Pro has a higher price tag than almost any other OnePlus device before it, which can be

After a few painfully boring years when smartphone makers released phone after phone that was pretty much the same as every other phone, 2019 has been a breath of fresh air. Apple’s new iPhone 11 series might look a lot like last year’s iPhones from afar, but the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max finally put Apple back on top of the pile where mobile photography, performance, and battery life are concerned. Then on the Android side of the fence, smartphone brands have been coming up will all sorts of exciting new designs and features. This is especially true in China, where companies haven’t merely reached the 100% screen-to-window ratio mark, they’ve surpassed it.

A special version of the upcoming OnePlus 7T Pro might be the most expensive OnePlus phone ever

A special version of the upcoming OnePlus 7T Pro might be the most expensive OnePlus phone ever OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 7T a month ago, a phone that’s ready to deliver a few decent upgrades over its predecessors without killing your smartphone budget. But the regular 7T isn’t the only new handset that OnePlus is about to sell in stores this winter, according to rumors. An insider who has provided accurate information about OnePlus devices in recent years is back with pricing details for the Pro version of the handset, which will also come in a special McLaren Edition version. That OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition will be the most expensive phone OnePlus ever made — in fact, it’ll be even more expensive than the iPhone 11.

All sorts of exciting new designs have been released this year, which is a fantastic thing for consumers. Unfortunately, however, another trend has accompanied all this innovation: flagship smartphone prices are skyrocketing. High-end smartphones have gotten so expensive over the past year that the top companies in the market have begun to release cheaper, stripped-down versions of them in order to combat slumping sales. Handsets like the iPhone XR, Galaxy S10e, and iPhone 11 are priced in line with premium phones just a few short years ago, but now they sit at the top of the mid-range while flagship prices reach as high as $1,500 or even more. That’s no exaggeration — the top-of-the-line iPhone 11 Pro Max costs a whopping $1,449 before taxes!

OnePlus 7 now receiving Android 10 update ahead of Samsung Galaxy S10

OnePlus 7 now receiving Android 10 update ahead of Samsung Galaxy S10 OnePlus has released the much-anticipated Android 10-based OxygenOS 10.0 upgrade for its flagship duoJust like the beta OnePlus released earlier this month, the final version of OxygenOS 10.0 bundles a host of exciting new features. As well as a redesigned user interface, there's the ability to block messages containing specific words (a bit like how you can mute certain words on Twitter) and a slew of fresh Ambient Display options.

Take price out of the equation or factor in carrier subsidies where OnePlus ' game is non-existent, or even explore some alternative retail channels and the nice depreciated pricing on The Kirin 970 isn't quite on par with the Snapdragon 845, but the trio of Huawei camera area a force to be reckoned with.

Like the similar and more expensive OnePlus 7 Pro , this display has a 90 Hz refresh rate, which makes the entire interface Like the new iPhone 11 and the latest Pixel phones, the 7 T enhances night shots, adding more light, color and detail to OnePlus isn’t tampering with the formula that got it to the dance, and that’s good.

That price tag is absolutely insane, there’s no doubt about it. But if you think it’s bad now, I’m about to make it even worse. OnePlus’ upcoming new flagship OnePlus 7T will feature cutting-edge specs, a 6.55-inch AMOLED display, and performance on par with the iPhone 11 Pro Max, but it will cost literally half as much as Apple charges for its flagship phablet.

Now, before we get to the OnePlus 7T’s features we should first discuss what OnePlus has done with its smartphone lineup in 2019 because, well, it’s weird. Earlier this year, the company released a OnePlus 7 and a OnePlus 7 Pro. Like other companies including Apple and Samsung, OnePlus decided to release a phone that falls into the typical flagship category and then a second “ultra-premium” smartphone. But only the OnePlus 7 Pro was made available in the United States, and the OnePlus 6T remained in OnePlus’ US lineup as the less expensive option.

OnePlus 7T Pro’s launch date might’ve just been revealed

OnePlus 7T Pro’s launch date might’ve just been revealed Announced just a few days ago, the Galaxy Note 10 isn't the only exciting flagship smartphone set to debut in the second half of 2019. The iPhone 11 will drop in mid-September, with the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also rumored to be unveiled during the same month. Google should launch the Pixel 4 series sometime in October, and a new leak tells us the next-generation OnePlus flagship might be set for a mid-October debut as well. A leak a few days ago

This affordable Android flagship sports a lightning-fast in-display fingerprint sensor and powerful performance for half the price of its rivals. Also, be sure to check out our face-off between the OnePlus 6T and Galaxy S10. Editor's note, June 11 :The OnePlus 7 Pro is now on sale, which means

2 minute review . The OnePlus 7 sits in the shadows. Not because it's a bad phone, but because it has been It offers a more affordable option to those who can't stretch to the pricier Pro , but OnePlus applies its Oxygen UI over the top of Android , a relatively light skin which doesn't mess around too

Now, in the second half of 2019, OnePlus is releasing the new OnePlus 7T in the US. What about the OnePlus 7T Pro, you ask? Well, there isn’t a 7T Pro as of now and OnePlus isn’t making any announcements today about whether or not there ever will be one. Instead, the OnePlus 7T is actually an upgrade over both the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro in many ways. It takes a bunch of great features from the 7 Pro and adds an even newer processor, though it doesn’t have the all-screen design or pop-up selfie camera that make the OnePlus 7 Pro unique in the US market.

Since the OnePlus 7T is an update as opposed to a totally “new” phone, we’re going to focus on the biggest changes between this model and its predecessor. And in the history of OnePlus’ phones, there has never been a “T” update as big as this one. But first, let’s look over all the key specs:

My OnePlus 7 Pro review unit is the priciest model: 9 for 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. These prices seem expensive, but compare them to other flagship smartphones and they're suddenly a bargain. Of course, as beefy as the OnePlus 7 Pro is, it's still no match for the iPhone XS and XR.

The OnePlus 7 T brings some of the highest-end flagship features to a device that costs half as much. The 7 T came out ahead in every other area we tested, including color temperature, color accuracy, max brightness, and gamma accuracy. OnePlus 7 Pro camera review : Average at best.

It’s beyond apparent that the OnePlus 7T competes with ultra-premium flagship phones since it has many of the same features and capabilities as devices like the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the Galaxy Note 10+. Is this a bit odd considering the OnePlus 7 from earlier this year wasn’t an ultra-premium phone? Yes, but all that matters is that consumers who buy the OnePlus 7T will get an ultra-premium handset at an upper mid-range price point.

Now, there are a handful of huge changes between the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T, and one of the biggest ones is the new display. The new OnePlus 7T features a larger 6.55-inch “Fluid AMOLED” screen with 1080p FHD resolution, and it’s stunning. The best thing about it is the new 90 Hz refresh rate, making the new OnePlus 7T screen just as smooth as the OnePlus 7 Pro from earlier this year. The new panel is 27% brighter than the AMOLED on the 7 Pro, and the teardrop notch is 31.6% smaller than the one on the OnePlus 7 and 6T.

The new 2.96 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ is also an improvement over both the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, and the 7T has cutting-edge UFS 3.0 2-LANE storage as well. The only SKU that will be made available in the US includes 128GB of storage, though a 256GB model will be available elsewhere. Both versions include 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

You won’t believe how cheap this brand new Android flagship is

You won’t believe how cheap this brand new Android flagship is OnePlus shocked rivals and end users alike a few years ago when it launched its first “flagship killer” that delivered the same specs you’d find on a high-end Android phone, but at a much lower price. OnePlus wasn’t the first Chinese company to create cheaper flagship handsets, but it had bigger plans than China, targeting Western markets that hadn’t been exposed to low-cost Chinese vendors. A few years later, OnePlus phones still turn heads and they’re still cheaper than the latest iPhones or top Android devices, with OnePlus having a more significant presence in the US and Europe than before.

The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max come with better cameras, faster processors, and bigger batteries than iPhone models before them. But after living with the new iPhone 11 Pro series, the one thing we are impressed most with is actually quite simple: those iPhones won't OnePlus 7 Pro.

OnePlus 5 T review . The flagship killer returns in style. That was fine, but it was a little disappointing that it didn't ship with the latest Android software, 8 Oreo. OnePlus has, as usual, stuck its Oxygen OS interface over the top of Android , which keeps the general look and feel of Google's platform

The battery gets a boost from 3,700 mAh in the OnePlus 7 to 3,800 mAh in the OnePlus 7T, but the extra 100 mAh is hardly the big news. Warp Charge 20 on the OnePlus 7 has been upgraded to what the company now calls Warp Charge 30T on the OnePlus 7T. It’s even faster than Warp Charge 30 from the OnePlus 7 Pro, and it can charge the OnePlus 7T from empty to 70% in 30 minutes and to 100% in another half an hour.

There are a few other notable differences between the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T such as HDR10+ support and stereo speakers, but the last huge upgrade is also the most obvious when you look at the two phones side by side.

The timing isn’t great since Apple just released its iPhone 11 series with cameras that are mind-bogglingly good, so the new iPhone cameras are the only mobile cameras anyone will be talking about for a while. That said, the new triple-lens camera on the OnePlus 7T is quite impressive. The main sensor is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 with OIS and EIS that combine to create what OnePlus calls hybrid image stabilization (HIS). There’s also a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor for 2x zoom and portrait mode, as well as a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor for capturing photos with an extra-wide field of view.

Overall camera quality is terrific for both still photos and videos, and you’ll also find a new “Nightscape Mode” that’s similar to Google’s Night Sight and Apple’s Night mode on the iPhone 11 series. It works by stitching together multiple images with varying exposures just like Google and Apple’s low-light modes. The quality is good, though the results are nowhere near as impressive as Google’s Night Sight or Apple’s Night mode. What is quite impressive, however, is the OnePlus 7T’s new Macro Mode that lets you capture stunning detail at distances as close as just 2.5 centimeters from the subject. It’s remarkable — click the sample below to enlarge it and see for yourself.

Overall, the OnePlus 7T is a fantastic ultra-premium smartphone that checks every important box. It has impressive battery life, a great camera, a stunning 90Hz AMOLED display, plenty of power, a Snapdragon 855+ chipset, remarkably fast charging, and plenty more. But the thing that makes the OnePlus 7T a truly incredible smartphone is the value — when the OnePlus 7T is released on October 18th it will cost just $599 unlocked. T-Mobile will also sell the OnePlus 7T beginning on October 18th, once again making T-Mobile OnePlus’ exclusive wireless carrier partner in the US. Pricing through T-Mobile hasn’t yet been announced.

OnePlus 7T Pro might debut a week after the iPhone 11 hits stores.
We learned a few days ago that Huawei may unveil the Mate 30 Pro as soon as September 19th, which is just one day before the iPhone 11’s release date and several weeks sooner than what we expected from the Chinese vendor. But Huawei might not be the only handset maker to push up the launch of a new flagship phone. OnePlus is now rumored to unveil new products about a week after that rumored iPhone 11 release date.
