Jokowi Wants Indonesia's New Capital Modeled on Silicon Valley Indonesia’s new capital city will be modeled on Silicon Valley, a base for tech and creative companies, besides hosting the government apparatus, according to President Joko Widodo. The president wants the yet-to-be named city in East Kalimantan on the Borneo island to foster development of technology startups and a digitized manufacturing sector, The Jakarta Post reported, citing Widodo as telling journalists on Tuesday. The new capital will boast an efficient, technology-driven urban system for delivery of public services, Jokowi, as Widodo is known, said.

A Silicon Valley online name generator lets you put two words of your choice into the intricate title sequence, which over the seasons has featured rotating nods to real-life news, in-jokes and the logos of companies including Google, YouTube, Facebook, Uber and HP. Once you've designed your creation, you can download it creation either as an image or a video. Your words show up in big red letters in the center of the colorful animation, where the show's name usually appears.

Silicon Valley season 6: Everything to know

"Don't just watch Silicon Valley, BE the Valley," reads HBO's name generator, which is timed to promote the sixth and final season of the show about computer geeks trying to make it in Silicon Valley. Season 6 premieres this Sunday.

The generator is a fun little exercise, though warning: Not all all words take. I gave MySpace a go and got this message: "Error. 404. Page not found. But seriously… Our lawyers said at least one of those words isn't allowed. Try again!"

Intellectual property attorneys? This little online tool really does show what it's like to work in Silicon Valley.

Netflix is giving Line's cute mascots their own animated series .
Line Friends, the cute mascots used as stickers in the popular messaging app, are getting their own Netflix series. While the application isn't widely used in the US, it's huge in Japan and other parts of Asia. Brown, Cony, Sally, Moon, James and the other Line Friends even have their own merch -- an official store opened in New York's Times Square a couple of years ago -- and mobile games. In Netflix's announcement, it said the series will be a CG-animated non-verbal slapstick comedy telling the story of a diverse set of friends living in the same town.
