Android 10 beta for Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 is almost here

Android 10 beta for Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 is almost here Unless you own a Pixel, waiting for the latest Android release to hit your device can be excruciating, but anyone who picked up one of the latest flagship phones from Samsung this year won't have to wait too much longer. On Tuesday, SamMobile reported that Google will have a beta for Android 10, and that the program will be announced toward the end of September. The first build will begin rolling out in the US and Europe in October. We know that

Samsung made two killer phones in 2018, but here's why you should buy the Galaxy Note 9 instead of the If you're on the fence, though, there are some subtle differences that make the Galaxy Note 9 Stay tuned though: 2019 is right around the corner, and we ' re expecting some great new devices

The Galaxy Note 10 will soon become Samsung 's flagship smartphone. And while there are some early Galaxy Note 10 deals you can sign up for Unlike your typical stylus, the S Pen lets you take notes , sketch, create graphs, cut, paste, and copy right on your screen. Heck, it even doubles as a

I say this with all due kindness and respect: If you pay full price for a Samsung phone, you're nuts. Every year, new models emerge with $800, $900, even $1,000 price tags. And a year later (sometimes less), those same models can be had for half as much (sometimes less). Indeed, this morning I spotted a very good Best Buy deal on the Galaxy Note 9 (see below), and that led me to other deals that are arguably even better. So let's take a look at your options -- keeping in mind that next year at this time, we're likely to be having the same conversation about the Galaxy Note 10.

Best Buy: $299.99 with new line of service

The Galaxy Note 9 still sells for $900 new, but if you purchase it from Best Buy and activate a new account or line of service at Verizon, you'll save a whopping $600. If you're already a Verizon customer, you can upgrade to the Note 9 for $399.99. You can also finance the phone over 24 months for $12.49 per month (with a new line) or $16.66 (as an upgrade).

Samsung ’s Galaxy Note 9 has a massive 4,000 mAh battery that lasts longer than any other phone they’re released. It’s quite impressive, really. Anything you do on this phone should be fast and have great performance. However, when its brand new there is a lot going on under the hood.

My advice: Do the one-time payment option so you're not on the hook for 24 months. (It's not entirely clear from the Best Buy page, but there's no language indicating you have to stay with Verizon after activating service.)

Amazon: Under $400, unlocked and renewed

At this writing, I spotted at least 20 different Amazon sellers offering the unlocked Note 9 for anywhere from $381-$399. The link below will take you to one of them; if it's sold out there, you should see the next best option. (You can also look for the Other Sellers on Amazon box to see more choices.)

Most of these seem to be covered by the Amazon Renewed program, meaning they should look and operate like new. They're also covered by a 90-day warranty.

I love this option, because I can take the phone to just about any carrier and not be on the hook for any kind of financing or lease agreement.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 may now be considered 'old' after the release of the Galaxy S10 Plus but let us reassure you it is anything but. So if you were thinking to grab it and combine with a new SIM only deal to save some cash, there aren 't massive savings to be had (unless you don't mind

To put it bluntly, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has the best screen of any Android phone ever. This isn’t just my opinion — there are numbers and graphs to While I would like to see some more advanced computational photography features come to Samsung ’s devices in the future, I’m glad to see the

Decluttr: As low as $360

Search this buy-back service for the Note 9 and you'll find a couple dozen of them, some priced as low as $359.99. Some are tied to specific carriers, some are unlocked. Some are in "good" condition, some "very good," some "pristine." Whatever options you choose, you'll get a 12-month warranty.

My advice: Opt for an unlocked model if you can. You should be able to unlock carrier-specific models, but the process varies from one carrier to another and can be a hassle.
