Arrest warrants issued for woman accused of trying to set fire to 2 pizza shops in Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh police said they have warrants for the arrest of a woman suspected of trying to set fire to Pizza Milano on Fifth Avenue uptown and Cafe Milano on 6th Street downtown. Police identified the suspect as Nicole Jo Dawson, 36, and said there is video footage showing the alleged arson attempts from Tuesday. Police said the restaurants were occupied during both incidents. Sign up for our Newsletters Dawson was involved in protests outside Pizza Milano last year, after video of an altercation involving a manager and a woman went viral. Dawson and others protested outside the restaurant, believing the incident was racially motivated.
Earlier this year, Domino's Pizza said it would. And, well, the company is now delivering on that promise. Domino's that approximately a quarter of its locations across the US will have the technology in place by the end of this year. In 2020, a "significant portion" of Domino's remaining locations will allow you to track your order through the company's mobile app.
If the Domino's Pizza you're ordering from supports GPS delivery tracking, you'll also be able to opt into text notifications. By doing so, you'll get messages when your pizza is two minutes away and when it has arrived at your door. Domino's will also send you an SMS when your food is on its way. In this way, you can track where your order is without constantly looking at the Domino's app.

Police officers were called to the Mia Pizza shop on Baum Boulevard around 12:40 a.m.According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, two employees told investigators that they were confronted inside the store by two men wearing hoods and masks.The men pointed guns at the employees and demanded they open the register.Police say one of the suspects grabbed the cash tray out of the register.
The chain is no stranger to technology, especially when it comes to tech that has the potential to streamline deliveries. Earlier this year, the company said it would start testing. However, it's a bit strange to see Domino's come so late to GPS. After all, unlike autonomous robots, GPS is a mature technology that has been around for a while.
